Found a full car history check with the same data for less from another UK provider? We'll refund the difference.

How it works

  1. Buy your full report or bundle on CarCheckUp.
  2. If, before you bought or within 14 days after, you find a report with the same data advertised for less by another UK provider, email [email protected] with:
    • a link to their price and a screenshot showing it;
    • evidence that their report includes the same data as ours (listed below): a link to the provider's own page describing what the report includes, or their sample report;
    • the email address you used to buy from us.
  3. We check the price and what the report includes. If it qualifies, we refund the difference to your original payment method within 5 working days.

What counts as a report with the same data

  • A full vehicle history report for a UK-registered vehicle that, like ours, includes all of: outstanding finance, insurance write-off (with the category), police stolen marker, high risk register, mileage checks, previous keepers, number plate changes, colour changes, log book (V5C) issue dates, and scrapped, imported and exported status.
  • It is for you to show the other report includes this data: if the provider does not publish what its report contains, the claim cannot be accepted.
  • The same number of reports: a single report against a single report, a 3-report bundle against a 3-report bundle, and so on.
  • A price advertised publicly on the provider's own UK website, in pounds and including VAT, that any customer could pay when you bought from us.

What is not included

  • Prices that need a discount or voucher code, a subscription, a membership, or a trade or business account.
  • Prices shown without VAT, cashback offers, and reports resold by third parties or marketplaces.
  • Reports that leave out any of the data listed above, basic or partial checks, and free checks.

The small print

  • One claim per order, made within 14 days of your purchase.
  • We verify each claim against the provider's website; if the price is no longer shown, the screenshot you send is used.
  • The promise is in addition to your statutory rights and our refund policy.
  • We may change this promise for future orders; the terms on this page when you bought apply to your order.

Your unused reports on CarCheckUp never expire. At many other providers, bundle credits expire after 6 months to 2 years.
