CarCheckUp affiliate programme

Earn 5% on every full car history report bought through your link. For motoring sites, dealers, forums, YouTube channels and anyone who helps people buy a used car.

How it works

  1. Sign in (or create a free account) and apply below. We check your site and reply by email, usually within two working days.
  2. You get your own links and a free car check box for your site, each with your partner code.
  3. When a visitor you sent buys a full report within 30 days, you earn 5% of the sale.

The free car check (MOT history, mileage, tax and DVLA details) helps your visitors straight away; the full report adds outstanding finance, insurance write-offs, police stolen markers and 150+ data points. See the sample report.

Terms in short

The full agreement is in the affiliate programme terms. In short:

  • Credit: the last partner link a buyer came through within 30 days earns the sale. Your own purchases don't count, nor do purchases in the CarCheckUp app.
  • Payment: a commission is confirmed 30 days after the sale (the refund window; refunded sales earn nothing). We pay confirmed commissions monthly by PayPal or UK bank transfer once they reach £50.
  • VAT: no VAT is added to commissions. Everyone is paid the amount shown, whether or not they are VAT registered; a VAT-registered partner accounts for VAT out of it.
  • Promotion: describe CarCheckUp truthfully; don't promise results a report can't give or present it as your own or an official DVLA service. Say that your links are affiliate links (UK advertising rules).
  • Not allowed: paid search ads on "CarCheckUp" or its misspellings, coupon or cashback listings without our agreement, spam, and links that set the code without a click.
  • Changes: rates and terms can change with notice by email; a sale keeps the rate it was made at. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and commissions from breaches aren't paid.
